The Ross had been floating around the north falls for several days after losing her anchor. I believe when they left the air the Bellatrix had come to tow them back to the south falls head. When transmissions re-started Peter had left.

Thanks Dale for the recording. And yes, the Ross was floating back and forwards , Steve Conway wrote about this event in his book.
