With a drink, a radio magazine

And a laptop computer on facebook for Mi-Amigo

its a happy day here at my sea pirate's home

When this RSL would have been on AM, with a decent AM radio in your hands you would have been able to listen to the LV18 station on the beach in Noordwijk.

I did this during the first BigL revival RSL on 266 m (1134, mind you the Croation power house was still active by then, but no problem)

The signal's making it out as far as Frinton, but I think Noordwijk might be a challenge this time! They're doing an hour a day on shortwave too (details should be somewhere on the Mi Amigo facebook page). I think it was mentioned that the transmitter was in Germany.

More uploads from the LV 18. They had some serious problems last night, hence the gaps in recordings. Things seem to be better now, but there's some sort of problem with the link between the ship and the transmitter. Still very listenable, though. I missed a part of "Happenings In Harwich," and, typically, it was right in the middle of an interview with ex-Caroline man Barry Lewis (from the Ross Revenge era- I'm not sure what name he used back then), now at BBC Essex. If anyone has this complete, an upload would be very welcome.
