Tim Allen. Looking at the radiopedia most likely from the 01.11.1987

Given what Keith Francis said (38') about 'Satellite' and the Hooters, it seems that this was before the mast collapsed.

He also says that Caroline 558 is on 24 hours per day. Did they do this in December? Satellite entered the UK charts at No.58 on 22nd November an remained on chart for 7 weeks.

No, and this is what I was on my way to write. The only possible week end is December 5-6 and 558 was off during the night.

If you look at radiopedia Keith was still on board until the 10/12/87 and they did seem to be running 24 hours, maybe to relieve the boredom. If this was recorded at some distance then it explain the reception and make it before 24/11.

Dear Dale,

What do you think about this being 21st or 22nd November? We know that "Satellite" was on board on 25th November and Keith did the 0900-1300 slot on both dates.

Best wishes,

John C

Well John it could well be from those dates. I also thought that the recording of Keith also came pre mast collapse. Lastly Satellite entered the UK top 100 at no.58 on the

15/11/87 and in top 30 the following week so yes I think you are right.

This one is not from December 87, Peter wasn't on board. Seems to be January 1988.

As I said yesterday, 558 was off December 5-6 during the night:

- December 05: close down at 2100

- December 06: close down at 0100

Last program from Keith was on December 10, 0900-1300

Jackie Lee last on  this Sunday afternoon slot in September 1987. So this could be from the 6th,13th,20th or 27th.

Dale,

In this programme you hear a promo from Lotto 649 announcing the winners for this Lotto dated 28th and 31st October 1987.

There is a program dated 19th November 1987 you can hear the winners dated 4th and 7th November 1987.

So I think this programme is from Sunday 15th November 1987.

it is Tim Allen saying that Peter Philips will be on after 0900 and that he would be back on Drivetime the following day.
