Living Marimbas - Mélodie D'Amour. Van oorsprong is dit een compositie uit 1931 van Leona Gabriel, Marc Lanjean en Henri Salvador en werd voor het eerst op de plaat gezet door Orchestra la Boule Blanche. Er kan wel een boek geschreven worden over dit nummer die in veel vocale en instrumentale versies en diverse titels in de daarop volgende decennia werd opgenomen. Meest bekende titel is natuurlijk Melodie d’amour. Living Marimbas namen in 1966 het nummer op dat verscheen op de lp ‘Latin Soul’. De lp was ook in de discotheek van Radio 355 en het was Dave MacKay die het nummer gebruikte voor een promospot voor het programma ‘The breakfast club’ met John Aston. Maar de snelheid van de spot komt niet overeen met het tempo van de lp track. Wat bleek? Dave draaide tijdens de productie het nummer op 45 toeren. Living Marimbas - Mélodie D'Amour.
