Johnnie Spence Orchestra – The Midnight Theme. Een zeer toepasselijke titel als je weet dat dit nummer werd gebruikt als tune voor ‘The midnight hour’ dat was te beluisteren, gevuld met de meer rustigere muziek op Radio 270, dat in internationale wateren regionaal gericht voor de kust van Scarborough haar programma’s uitstraalde. Johnny Spence was een Britse arrangeur, componist, orkestleider die veel samenwerkte met Matt Monro. Ook componeerde hij veel muziek voor televisieseries. Helaas kwam hij in 1977 op 41-jarige leeftijd al te overlijden. Johnnie Spence Orchestra - The Midnight Theme. Johnny Spence was a British arranger, composer, orchestrator who worked extensively with Matt Monro. He also composed a lot of music for television series.
